Leo’s Donair began its journey in 1981, when its founder Leo Toulany and his wife, Jean, began supplying ground beef to local businesses.
As the love of Donair grew in our home province of Nova Scotia, so did the demand for supplying restaurants. Since then, Leo has turned his small operation into the Donair production it is today, evolving into the province’s leading supplier.
Leo has taken great pride in providing quality Donair along with many other Donair products, gluten free included. It was hard not to feel proud when the Province of Nova Scotia declared the Donair as its official food in 2015.
Over the years, he has perfected his product that is undoubtedly recognizable from the very first bite.
